I had a really wonderful birthday this year.
Sascha suprized me on Thursday night with the:

We both had Friday off so we actually got to sleep in and spend some time together. It was really nice.
I spent the day at the hair salon. I am back to being a redhead.
I did some shopping and we went to the Cambodian place for lunch.
Curry with coconut milk, lemongrass, & tofu.  Yummm!

Then he took me to see my Sushi Husband :) for dinner.
I gorged myself and Kimiko gave me dessert on the house.

My sushi husband, served some really wonderful flounder with diakon chopped up and soaked in hot sauce.  He also used thinly sliced cucumber in lieu of dried seaweed to wrap the spicy chopped scallop. So good. I love that man.

Oh we got a wii fit. And I was really suprised how "balanced" I was during the initial testing....turns out I had the board facing the wrong way, I was doing everything backwards.

I completed the 60 clock hours for my real estate license renewal.

Now I am going to spend the day making perogies and cleaning house.

So I got a new job! Yay!

That meant I had to face my boss and give notice. She didn't yell, throw things or call me names....she cried.
I feel bad..but I know I made the right decision.

Famitsu Confirms Disgaea DS

I have to be up at 4 a.m. tomorrow I am flying out to Bend, OR with my boss to teach the 2008 relocation specialist classes.....gah.

I hate the airport....and I am going somewhere colder then Seattle. I am hardly motivated and in a foul mood.

Also I am hourly and don't receive overtime....so I am not sure that this is a fair trade. I get to go somewhere cold and desolate to teach and for what? comp time? experience?

I want money, and to stay home.

Actually I want to work for a company that pays overtime and treats their employees like my previous Canadian employers did. No, I take that back T-Mobile treats Sascha like gold. It is just me. No more small companies....that feel like they can pick and choose which rules to follow.

Wish me luck.....I may lose it.

Pictures from Vancouver!  I really miss Canada, a lot.
I miss the laid back, kooky, people. But, most of all I miss how late most businesses are open. The trip was great unfortunately the concert was bad. The opening act had a wonderful voice and a fancy steel guitar that she could not play at all. She tried to cover that with her whammy bar, it however just accentuated how very poor she was at playing her instrument.

I happened upon this today....it is stuck in my mind...I really need to go to Seoul and eat hotdogs.
The Last Appetite is an amazing blog and I find myself lost in it for hours. You should go look, drool, and dream of going to Korea to sample all of the delicious food.

yay! presents.  Kiko and Vizelle gave me the best presents for my b-day. Kiko made me a squid shirt and they managed to find this quirky vinyl statue of a cat on a scooter. He is rather squinty  and is my absolute favorite thing in the world right now.

Sascha picked me up enchanted arms for the 360 which I haven't had a chance to play with yet, it is multi player so I am going to force him to play with me.

I am really excited for Canada this weekend too....sushi, gravy, shopping and the Weakerthans. Not to mention that I haven't had any quality time with Miranza in months.  Bonus! Anna is going to hang out with us too.

In conjunction with my excitement I am also incredibly anxious...I hate crossing the border. I hate border guards I am absolutely convinced that I will get the clip board and be sent to the little room. they have WAY to much power.  It doesn't matter how much paperwork I have on me ... all that matters is that the guy/girl I get doesn't decide to make an example of me. 

GAH!

I cry almost every single time ... I can't help it. They scare me. I am extremely apprehensive. They smell my fear! 

Woe is me!

I am having a full on girl moment. Sascha received an e-mail today and they are switching his shift to 5am-5pm fri-sat-sun. 3 days on 4 off then reversed. I am never going to see him. Weekends are the ONLY time I ever have off. What am I going to do all weekend? I hate being lonely......

GAH  I am so MAD and SAD all at the same time. I am completely un-consolable, and acting like a big baby.

Not to mention it is period week and I am crazy with estrogen. I am ready to throw myself on the ground and have a full on tantrum. 


You know what happens when I get bored and alone? I spend money. Not good.

No more Dim Sum Sundays......No more Saturday cuddles.....I am going to die and it IS most definitely the end of the world.

Also I finally watched Lilo & Stich. It was really good ....I am usually very wary of Disney movies, but this was really cute. I especially enjoyed Lilo's hobby of taking pictures of large tourists.  Yay!
